We offer two rafting adventures; ride in a paddleboat, or in an oar boat. On paddleboat river trips, each person has a paddle and works with the guide as part of a coordinated river crew. For a more relaxing river trip, choose an oar boat trip, in which the guide does all the rowing and the passengers just enjoy the ride. All our trips begin with a thorough orientation, safety talk and introduction to river running terminology and equipment. While on the river, our guides will point out unique Colorado Arkansas River geology, natural history and historic highlights.
At Canyon Marine, your enjoyment is our top priority. We use self-bailing river rafts to ensure a more comfortable and enjoyable ride. All our guests are fitted with top-quality Coast Guard approved life jackets. Wetsuit rentals are available for early season big water rafting trips.
Our river raft guides and staff are some of the very best whitewater professionals in the business and are the most important asset of Canyon Marine. Extensively trained in first aid, CPR, and whitewater river rescue, they are not only serious, skilled boaters, they are great fun as well. We also offer duckie (inflatable kayak) rental for the more adventurous river experience. Each trip goes with a certified kayak guide, and includes all equipment, and paddling instruction.
